Archives For flashback friday

Happy Friday! This weekend marks the first weekend of Summerfest here in Milwaukee and I am sure many of you are anxious to start the weekend with music and food down by the lake shore. However, before you take off for the weekend we want to show you a little bit of Bradley history. Like Summerfest, Bradley has been a part of Milwaukee tradition for decades. Pictured below you can see an old advertisement illustrating the versatility of Bradley products between different commercial settings.  From corporate buildings, factories, schools, hotels and even Summerfest, Bradley products can be found hard at work.

Happy Flashback Friday Monday! Check out this one. It was a two page spread with this awesome illustration of scientists washing up at a Bradley Washfountain. Presumably they just got done doing something like testing out a giant rocket, inventing tang, or any of the other thousands of awesome things scientists got to do during the heyday of the space race. There’s even a story to go along with it.

Happy Friday to you all! This Flashback Friday photo is from the 80’s, but is very futuristic. The black background makes me think of outer space and facet at the top of the page reminds me of a space ship. The showers, eyewash station and lavatory system all look like orbits. This is the most space age chic ad that Bradley has every made. I love it! What do you think?

The Washfountain was one of the coolest places for kids to hang out in the 80’s.And plaid was clearly the latest fashion trend. What was your favorite 80’s  trend? Teased hair? Neon colors? I know I was particularly fond my knew high socks.
